updatifier enable cheats help!

i installed updatifier on my sd card, i used the auto installer from http://www.smashmods.com/forum/page/bpdownload.html

how do i enable the cheats? it boots into gecko os after, have sd cheats enabled in the config, when i click load game it says loaded SD cheat file or somthing.

but nothing changed when im in the game..

is there a way i can pick through the cheats? like enable this and that..

yes, i used updatifier so everything installed in its proper place...
also used t he auto installer to install brawl+ for riivolution with extras... also the cheats dont activate..

gecko os says " SD codes found applying cheats" so the file is there, it's just not working?
