Unusual Marth Style - Aero(Me) vs Friend

So I guess I'm maining Marth. I tried maining Lucario, and Jigglypuff but my Marth was just better.

Here are a few recent videos of me and my friend playing. I'm Marth in all the videos, and he uses a variety of characters, but he mains Marth also. I also added a few videos of me gimping lvl9 computers. Please rate my Marth. I recently changed my style and I would say its "unusual". I say its unusual because of my movement. I compare dmyself from other Marths I see, and I feel that mine moves differently. ~ The one where its Marth vs. Marth are the best ones. Lol. Some of them are amusing. I am the RED MARTH.

I'm not quite sure why you think your style is unusual, but whatever.

- I only saw you use Side B once. DED got improved immensely since Melee, you should try to incorporate it into your game.

- In those videos, it seems your only approach (albeit working) is short-hopped forward airs. Try mixing it up sometimes is all I'm trying to say I guess.

I call my style unusual because I feel it looks different from other Marths I've seen. I do a continuous torrent of n-airs and f-airs.

use your sword dance a lot more

remember that when you're halfway thru the sword dance and the opponent is insisting in shielding finish the dance holding down. Since it hits many times your more likely to hit em. Otherwise, the standard one should be fine. Ive seen someone attack with upB every now and then and it seemed pretty effective although risky.

continuous torrent of nairs and fairs? that isnt unusual, thats how marth is played by the majority of players. i saw the dedede match, i could really tell he didnt main ddd. half the time he was facing the wrong direction.

Yeah that's true. Most Marth players spam their nairs and fairs lol..

I suppose your playstyle is aggressive but it isn't unusual. Your ground game is pretty crappy. I managed to watch 3 of your matches and there wasn't a single grab in any of them. Also, I didn't really see you using Marth's tilts. Dtilt is still decent as an approach. Using his dancing blade will help your game out a lot. It might have been your friend too, but in one match you guys used counter more than you shielded. It is a good to throw counters in to mix up your game but it is a move that leaves you very vulnerable. Anyway, that is all I can think of right now.

Your matches are very quick. Not sure that is an indication of your inability to dodge or play style?
