UNO Smashcon Monthly

The UNO Episcopal Campus Ministry, in conjunction with W.E.L.L., SAC and Smash-Con will be hosting a Super Smash Bros. Tournament to benefit Women Empowered and Loving Life.

The event will be on Friday, Mar. 23rd at 6PM at the Chapel of the Holy Comforter located at 2220... Lakeshore Dr. Refreshments will be served.

A $5 entry fee will be assessed for both the Brawl and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Tournaments. There will be a loser's bracket for the Brawl tournament. The Grand Prize will be $75, and the winner of the loser's bracket will receive $50. The winner of UMvC3 will receive 50% of the pot.

Here are the Tournament Rules:

Brawl: 3 stock, 8 min. matches, UNITY Rule set, MK Legal

UMvC3: Best 2 out of 3

Melee and the original Smash Bros. will also be available to play at the event for friendlies.

Please bring your own controllers and equipment if at all possible.

Ah, dang. I won't be able to make this. Looks pretty beast though. I'll definitely try to make it next time, time permitting. I'd be tempted to enter all he smash tournaments especially since it's only $5. :o

April 13th is the same date as Road to Tasol which is a big tournent for smash in Louisiana. You may want to reconsider the date for your next tournament.
