Unlockable character/costume order

So, as in every smash characters are unlocked from easiest to hardes, no matter how it's by the amount of matches you play or what you do. I hope it's long and time consuming too unlock them all, who do you think will be unlockable and what order? Mine with confirmed characters:
Luigi
Marth
Wii fit
Sonic
Toon link
Rosalina
Lucario
Little Mac
Mega man
I believe villager to be a starter.
How do you hope they're unlocked, hopefully more than just beating the story mode.. It would be tough to do intense without a restart.
As for costumes I think it would be a good idea to unlock like dr mario by playing a certain amount of times with mario, beating classic with him, just doing things with that specific character. Who wants this guy as an alternate

Will these costumes be changing audio? Because then things like Daisy, Dr.Mario, and Shadow are a shoe in. Hell, maybe even Mr. L from Super Paper Mario (not in 2D form).

I would like to see costumes as things unlocked off the bat or unlocked via accomplishments with that character.
