Alright, so they've announced various assist trophies so far. Now, we don't know for sure what's going to happen with Petey Piranha (unlockable character?, just a boss?, etc.) but does it seem feasible that Petey could be a boss AND an unlockable assist trophy. If his moves are simple as a boss (he chases Kirby around swinging the cages and biting at him) and they do not program a complicated enough set of moves to make him a fully playable character, then why not make it so that once you defeat him he can be an assist trophy in versus mode? That could make sense for Samurai Goroh and Devil too. Maybe every boss you face in the Subspace Emissary can be unlocked and used as an assist trophy.
I only thought of this when I was thinking about how much a shame it would be for them to make Petey someone you can fight against, but not someone you can fight as. Then I thought, well maybe you can unlock the ability to have him aid you in versus mode? What do you all think?
