Also, KKK: Stop your nonsense. You made no argument at all, and basically just called everyone out for playing high tiers. Okay, good job, you're a hero, we all feel bad about ourselves, etc.

Oh wait, I beat Cave's Doc and Y.Link with Bowser, and also beat his Doc with Yoshi. By the way, Cave's Ness absolutely *****. My Link is amazing and yet got destroyed by Vash in a Link ditto at FS2. Lee ***** people with Mario at the same tourney. Galt sucks *** but his G&W is still pretty **** decent. Smiles has a dirty Luigi. SOS and I have mean Pichus. Chang's Mewtwo does miraculous and scary things. These are all of our off characters. Everyone plays low tiers, but the fact of the matter is that they don't do well in high-level tournament play, so we don't use them there.

Look, we all know and respect that you have an amazing Kirby, but get off your low tier high horse; we've had enough of your whining and poor sportsmanship (DaBR3, anyone?).

Seriously though I agree that the thread should be unlocked. I don't really see a reason for it to be locked. Where else will we discuss this kind of thing?

I am pretty sure the regional zones are NOT just for brawl. Why cant we discuss our melee tournament scene as well?

It's all true. :'( I really do suck except with G&W. There. I said it. My secret's out. And the problem with being good with G&W is that it's like not actually being good with him, because sometimes you'll win, and then sometimes a random n00b picks Peach and you lose because you play G&W. Or Marth players. Or pretty much any other character in the game (not Falcon though I'll take you down).

Also Chang's M2 can't handle my G&W. That's my one consolation. But that match is in no way fair for Mewtwo. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying it. If I were still playing competitively (aka if Brawl hadn't sucked and ruined the competitive scene), I'd threaten to take you all down with G&W. But no such luck.

I'm closing this for the same reason I closed DoH's topic, it doesn't really have anything to do with hosting smash events in the southwest region, which is what this forum is supposed to be about.

If you want more melee tournaments then host them. Or make requests directly to tournament hosts about them in their tournament topics. A topic that says "hey everybody let's keep playing melee" is spam, as is a "please open the topic that told everybody to play melee" topic.
