Universes collide- possible character crossovers!

I'm gettin pretty psyched about all these video game universe cross-overs. Diddy and Rayquaza and Fox? Amazing!

Here's my idea for a crossover:

Link will be in a dungeon facing a door, but first he must solve a puzzle by moving rocks around to reach the door. He'll solve the puzzle, and he'll hear the legendary "Da-da-doo-doo-da-da" puzzle solved chime, while at the same time, on the other side of the door, the Pokemon Trainer is commanding Charizard to use Strength to clear the rocks away. The door on both sides says, "In this room, you will meet a powerful opponent. Defeat him to move on". The door opens, and a fight ensues. At the end of the fight, as the final blow is about to be delivered, Dedede comes crashing through the wall, running frantically while silly music plays. Chasing after him is Sonic, throwing rocks at him for no good reason. Dedede smashes another wall with his hammer, running frantically, while Sonic pursues. Link and the Pokemon Trainer glance at each other, shrug, and follow Sonic through the hole in the wall.

Well according to a picture on the dojo we can assume link teams up with yoshi in the SSE but your idea of link and PT would be pretty cool I dk about Sonic and Dedede tho Sonic seems to fast maybe he could team up with Capt Falcon (who should be updated this week just so people shut up about him)

Sounds like a good idea, My idea would be, Pokemon trainer capturing Rayquaza (excuse me if i spelled wrong.)After fox and Diddy Weaken it, which would allow him to join up with them.

I cant wait to see Pokemon Trainer being dragged into all of this. I can see him paired up with Lucas or something...

Captain Falcon and Samus teaming up would also be pretty cool. But then theres the crazy crossovers like Ice Climbers and Meta Knight or Wario and Zelda (lol a likely possibility).

Lol yea the crossover thing is what really made the SSE seem so cool to me. Though it wasn't the first, the KH series did a good job at meshing together different characters from different universes and making it work. And no the characters are not all from the same universe initially. The OP is write that many different universes collide and its something I really really like.

I'd like to see Sonic meet C. Falcon at an F-Zero race. Racing along side....wait didn't that happen in one of the shows? I'm remembering hearing about something similar but I was never a fan of that Fox kids thing >.> Either way it would be cool to see Sonic outpacing an F-Zero Machine.

I wanna see someone like Ike or Snnake ride on silly ol' Yoshi. Well since Link will it should show this before they face a boss. It shows Link in front of (any boss you want but I'll say) Wart(I miss him) pulling out his sword in an epic way. Then Yoshi (he's on yoshi) runs away but Link stopshim and they fight him together.

I like the part about Link's epic dragonslaying being interrupted by an irate penguin and a giggling crack-rat. Lemme try. (Even though this thread's probably gonna be locked within the hour. . .)

Mario set his feet down on solid ground for the first time in hours. He'd never been afraid of heights, but a place like Skyworld made the option a viable one. He wasn't going back without his flying cap.

Pit, the strange, winged creature who had saved him, pointed to the east. It was just a tiny speck on the horizon, but still recognizable as the Halberd, crossing over the mountains. Mario nodded at his new companion, and started running through the jungle to catch up.

He didn't get ten feet before something ran him over.

As he pulled his head out of the stump it was lodged in, Mario heard a loud, obnoxious yawning. The kind of yawn that perfectly awake people, at least the bad-mannered ones, use to tell you that they're bored. Pulling leaves out of his mustache, he turned to face. . .

. . .Something he'd never seen before. By the way Pit was staring, he'd never encountered a creature like it, either.

It was tapping it's shiny, red shoes against the ground, looking at them as though it expected something. Mario wondered if he'd stumbled onto some kind of toll bridge or somethhing. But he didn't have any money on him.

The creature yawned again. "Come on, fellas." It spoke. "I've been waiting all day to get a piece of you two. Don't disappoint me now. . ."

Pit waved at the Halberd, which was slipping over the horizon. The blur thing took one look at it and shrugged. "Those guys? Boooooo-ring. I wanna see what you've got to offer!"

Pit growled. Apparently, this self-centered thrillseeker wasn't going to let them through without a fight. Well, if that's what he wanted. . .

. . .Then that's what he'd get!

(Boss fight: Sonic the hedgehog. Choice of Mario and Pit as playable characters.)

Color seems to be something that characters have in common when they are teamed up, except for Mario and Pit. Falcon and Sonic are both blue, but really, the two go together a bit too well...

Falcon will probably end up with Marth or some weird combination like that. I'd say Snake but the level of awesomeness would be too high. Probably over 9000, and Fox would break his scouter.

Every veteran character that has ever been a hidden/secret from either of the first two games is still unconfirmed. Only the cast of characters that were starters have been confirmed. Ten bucks says Sakurai doesn't give any of them profiles utill AFTER the game is out.

Suddenly, half-way through the fight, a large, flying, skeletal dragon appeared. It shoots balls of some kind of liquid at the trio.

"Whoa! Friend of yours?", the blue creature asked?

Mario and Pit shook their heads.

The dragon turned around for a second attack. Only this time, it armed itself with some kind of gun. It fired the gun, which created an arrow on the ground. The arrow was heading straight for the blue creature.

Without even thinking, Pit pushed the creature out of the way. But, in doing so, was hit with the beam. Mario stood in horror as his new ally was turned into a trohpy. The dragon swooped down and grabbed the life-less figure and headed to the east, following the Halberd and leaving Mario and the creature alone.

As the dragon vanished from site, Mario gave chase, only to be stopped by the blue creature.

"You'll never catch him," the creature pointed out to him. "Unless, of course, you had a little help."

The creature extended his hand. Mario, not having much in the line of choices, took the creature's hand and shook it.

"Sonic is my name, and speed is my game."

Before Mario could introduce himself, he was pulled off his feet. Sonic had taken off while still in the handshake. Mario grabbed his hat, afraid he might lose it at the speed they were traveling.

Link and Mario crossover for the win.

I'll give it a shot as well:

Link is traveling once again to retrieve the Master Sword. He arrives in a secluded grove, deep into the forest. As he aproaches the pedestal where the sword rests, he sees Meta Knight falling from the skies, into the woods, and the Halberd flying around. Suddenly, Mario and Pit descend too. Link runs looking for them and finds the three fighters engaged in a fierce battle: Pit and Mario VS MK. Meta Knight then does some sort of Mind Control trick and turns Pit against Mario, who fights bravely. Link joins the battle, and eventually defeats MK, who flies back to the Halberd. Pit awakens suddenly, and chases MK through the skies.

Mario and Link watch them fly away...

I really hope that Wario ends up with the princess you don't save. While his intro made him seem like a boss, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets double-crossed by the Subspace guys, and in a "screw you" moment, steals back the princess( I'll just say Zelda) and revives her. Seeing a gross buffoon like Wario teaming up with one of the prim and proper princesses would be just about the funniest thing to ever be put in a video game.

Also, the only person who is manly enough to team up with Snake is none other than Captain Falcon. They could go all Die Hard on the Subspace, like Falcon crashes his F-Zero racer THROUGH the Halberd and they just blow stuff up. Snake with his grenades...Falcon with his knee.

Well Rayquaza is supposed to be a guardian of the planet. If some alien comes crashing into his atmosphere he shoots first and asks questions later. Thats why I like that Pokemon (but I've hated the show since I was in middle school >.>).

Also I think another interesting meet up to see would be Link and Ike or Pit (or all three) and see what happens

The first post is ridiculous. I could never imagine something like that happening.

Taking in context the things that we've seen in videos, I'd assume that Bowser teams/captures D.K., and Diddy tries his best to pursuit. He ends up losing them, and comes accross Fox's arwing. Fox saves Diddy from Rayquaza and the two team up (Fox is after the huge ship, Diddy's trying to save DK and the Bananas).

Since Fox crashlanded not too far from Diddy, I'm assuming that Peach and Kirby didn't land too far from them either. Perhaps the four of them (or whoever the combo is depending on who you pick during the tourney) will eventually meet up and form a team.

Heres my idea of an interesting crossovernote that NONE of the characters are related)


Alright so we got Meta Knight and Ike battling enemies on the Halberd, trying to get to the main control room to stop the Minister. After defeating enemies An explosion rips a hole in a wall nearby. Pokemon Trainer runs through the hole and jumps for cover followed moments later by Charizard battling it out with Ridley. Charizard is thrown down, but before Ridley can make the final blow, Ike leaps forward and blocks with his sword. *pick your character* Boss battle begins

Also, the only person who is manly enough to team up with Snake is none other than Captain Falcon. They could go all Die Hard on the Subspace, like Falcon crashes his F-Zero racer THROUGH the Halberd and they just blow stuff up. Snake with his grenades...Falcon with his knee.

Theyd make a great team they can get nosebleeds over Zamus together

I have the best charecter crossover.

mario is running for god knows what. then he trips and he hits a metal object then he relizes that it is some sort of car or other vehicle of that nature. out of nowhere CAPTIN FALCON comes out grabs him up throws him shffls nair then shffls uair then knees him. Mario says "Whata **** was thata fora" Then captin falcon says in his sexations (it is a word [no its not]) voice "you dented my ride..." then they relize that kaptin k rool is right behind them and they have an epic battle (mostly of mario jumping on k rools head after he chucks his crown at him). right before k rool falls off a cliff (or whatever) he knocks falcon 500meters away into the jungle. after falcon retains consiousness he is greeted by a horde of pikmen who carry him to Captin olimar.....

If any wants to add on to my EPIC story you can do so

Oh boy, blind speculations! My favorite kind!

Okay, this should be fun. This would assume Geno makes it in.

Scene starts with Red battling Rayqaza, who has been previously weakened by Fox and Diddy. The viewpoint catches a few quick glimpses of Geno watching.

(It is implied somehow that Geno came to whatever the hell kind of crazy planet this is to investigate the Subspace's actions. Also implied is that Geno has mistaken Rayqaza for the leading force behind the Subspace.)

Anyways, Rayqaza's getting the **** kicked out of him before he goes all Rambo and smacks Charizard out of the way and turns on Red, intent on blood. Geno leaps out and starts kicking *** like he usually does.

Red regains his footing to find that Rayqaza's almost down from Geno's uber leetness, and throws a Pokeball, sucking the little(Big) **** into it. It stops moving and glowing, and Red cheers with Squirts and Ivvs, astounded at having caught a Legendary.

After Red's done freaking out, he turns to retrieve his newfound toy, only to find the business end of Geno's arm-cannon. Geno says something along the lines of "I can't let you do that."

Fight ensues.

My guess is that as fox came crashing down he smaked rayquaza in the head and sent him flying into a lake and so rayquaza gets pissed and thinks fox is an alien trying to attack and then *insert subspace cutsene*

EDIT: and he thinks diddys in with fox because he seems concerned about foxs ship

Nice. I was thinking something along the lines of Sonic showing up in a bunch of different storylines as a mid-boss who's just looking to have some fun at everyone else's expense, but this would probably fit SSBB's style better.
