Have you ever played Smash with people who feel like 'one' match (of smash) is the deciding factor for the rest of their/your life?
This someone is a bit out of the box and has to elaborate on all of their victories (and losses) as if they will never get another chance to do so. Often times they will taunt excessively or the second you're KO'd. ( I don't have a problem with taunting since it shows confidence, but there is a fine line for those with a lack thereof). Their attitude changes the air for everyone as it is no longer an enjoyable environment. It's as if they feel smash is a life or death situation and it is urgent to win at all costs.
*Intense face activated*
I try to simply lead by example, but I feel they are so intertwined with being perfect and pleasing others that they never have a good time. And there is always a reason for their loss; as they are never accountable.
What do you think about it? How do you deal with this kind of problem?
