Under Used Characters

Who are some characters that you think are being severely underused, close to no one are using them?

I would have to say, Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt, Pac Man, R.O.B., and Palutena.

Robin, my main, is one of them. There is little information about him that is current and tournament sightings are sketchy. You can usually find one good one in every region but at the highest level there is really only Dath (and he has been showing up less and less... but even then it’s only in his home state of Florida)

I've seen people talk about fighting a ditto, but I have yet to encounter a Wii Fit ditto myself. The closest I've ever had was this one match I entered as Palutena. I suspect the other person was just playing random characters, but I switched back to Wii Fit thinking it was their main as well. Either way I got bodied.

I'm just going to go off which characters I don't encounter often enough, starting from rarest to a little bit.

I'd say underused characters are the characters that you rarely see on stream along with how the commentators talk about them and their knowledge or lack-there-of in regards to said character. It counts if they are not brought up in a conversation when there are no matches on stream. Instead the popular characters are talked about because they are relatable; character bias in a stream match can count too.
