Unable to run to the left, can't backthrow

I recently installed Project M on my computer using Dolphin 4.0.2. Everything works fine expect I can't run to the left, nor am I able to backthrow. This is really bugging me and I have no idea why it doesnt work. I'm using a GC Adapter and I've tried using both ports as well as different controllers. Everything works fine on melee though.

Has anyone had a similar problem? If you want more information regarding the problem or my specs etc just comment please.

Go to GCPad settings.
Set radius on both sticks to 100.
Set deadzone on main stick to 5 deadzone on c stick to 15.
Fixed.
