I go to school at umass amherst and nobody i know is really good at smash or is really into it like i am. i spent my first semester really bored and found myself practicing in training mode most of the time . i was wondering if anybody here at smashboards also goes to umass or a school nearby. im dying to play some people who are also enthusiastic about the game and i want go to some local tournaments as well. SO OUT OF THE 25000+ STUDENTS AT UMASS, ARE THERE ANY SMASHERS WHO PLAY MELEE?![/B

I think there's a gaming organization on campus. I looked into them once, but it was at the very beginning of the year and I never really got the chance to come back. I guess you could give that a shot? Their meeting days are posted up in the Student Union by the elevator.

I play Brawl much more than I do Melee, so you probably wouldn't be interested. But good luck =]

Hey man, I live in Pierpont in Southwest and I'd definitely be down to play with you sometime. I don't have a cube or any controllers though so if you had enough to play I'd definitely want to. I'm also a freshman and I'm currently taking Physics as my major.
