Smash Cadet

(the scrublord is rising.)
Just a trash Ness/Sheik/DuckDog player here whose played smash his whole life but never considering hopping off the casual express until watching the smash documentary. Now with sm4sh, we all have a shot to rise and make this scene our own!
Thing is, "Time-Saving OP" is what this doge lives by! Pretty sure none of us get hype over casually inching along for two years++ like we’re preparing for the Olympic Snail Events- that’s why we’re here.

My rapid tourney-ready strategy:
1) Master core fundamentals of the game; grabbing, short-hopping, edge blocking, and shielding/dodging all that jazz [1-2 months]
2) Master
3) Go full tryhard with high-level tech like pivots/dash grabs, spacing and zoning attacks, oos options, and making reads to confuse and predict opponents while otherwise recking them! [2-3 months]

So whaddaya think? Any advice in which direction I should move, or if my training strategy expectations seem silly, or want to call me a blank-boy for or tier-blank choosing Sheik? Any feedback and/or training buddies would be very much appreciated~
