So we all know Genesis is coming up in July over in California and a bunch of us are flying there, but now Evo just announced that Brawl is part of the tournament and will be ran like a normal awesome tournament and by nealdt JV and alphazealot! Furthermore, Evo is the weekend after Genesis.
We're all familiar with Genesis, located in Atioch, Cali, etc. Evo is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. It almost seems like a waste to travel out to the West Coast for Genesis and not attend Evo as well. Awesome summer vacation, Genesis and Evo2k9.
The only problem is that this could be tough to pull off without spending a crap load of money. Perhaps we could do something like, a group of us travel to Genesis like normal, stay at a nearby hotel for it, then someone from the area at Genesis can house us and then we drive down to Vegas (a day or two before Evo preferably to enjoy the place) and we stay at a hotel there, attend Evo, then fly back here.
I obviously need some people to come along with me, and I would need someone from the West Coast we're familiar with that would wanna help out with this. Maybe PockyD? DSF?
