UGC Events, organizers of the upcoming $40,000 UGC Smash Open tournament, announced that they will be holding four online qualifiers from November 1 - 10 for their aforementioned event.
The UGC Open Online Qualifier series will be ran in a similar format to the Key to the PG House online tournament hosted by Panda Global. It will allow North America-based players to compete over WiFi for a chance to win one out of four all expense paid trips to the UGC Smash Open, which will be held on December 2 - 4 in Collinsville, Illinois. The online qualifiers will have oversight from the same organizing team behind the main event, including Matthew "MattDotZeb" Zabrowski and Bassem "PG | Bear" Dahdouh.
Registration opens today, October 31, on smashgg. Slots are limited at 512 per qualifier, so make sure to register as soon as possible.
