I'm sure there's a thread for SE predictions somewhere, but if they come for me, I'll fight 'em off with my mad logic skeels--it's a thread for me to state my ideas, not for other people to state theirs! Of course, you all are welcome to agree or disagree, but this is mostly just so that you guys know what I, the master of the universe, think about SE.
...just kidding. These are my predictions about the Subspace Emissary, and I'd love to hear what you guys think. I will update this post whenever I receive word that there is a new vid and have had time to watch it. At this point, I have seen all the SE videos, and this is what I think...
The audience is gathered at what I believe is the new Final Destination (which sucks, 'cause I liked Melee's so much better--FD, not the audience). They're there to watch Mario and Kirby battle. Zelda and Peach also happen to be there. Mario and Kirby are both thrown in as trophies, and they come to life. Without further ado, they begin the fight, with you choosing the character you wish to play as. Whether you win or not does not, I believe. matter. After the fight, things take a bad turn. The sky gets red, and the Halberd flies in. The hatch opens, spilling purple blobs of Primid Juice onto the stage. Zelda and Peach get to the stage to help you fight, and you pick which of them you play as--any of the four. You fight off the Primids, but things only get worse. Peach and Zelda are caged by Petey. The character you played as during the fight between Mario and Kirby is blown away by a cannonball. I say the character you play as because I've seen both Mario and Kirby fighting Petey, and in the case of the video I saw, the person was originally Mario, and Kirby during the PP fight. You rescue one princess, and the one you don't rescue is turned into a trophy by Wario. If you fight PP as Kirby, the two of you escape on a Warp Star just before the stadium blows up. As Kirby, you're racing away, but the Halberd chases you. Eventually, Kirby lands the Warp Star on the ship and you and your princess race off. Before you get very far, an Arwing flies through the sky, only to be shot by the Halberd. It swoops by, barely keeping control, and knocks you two off the ship. You land safely but find yourselves in a dangerous place filled with hordes of enemies.
So far, that's all of Kirby/Mario and the princess...
Pit watches the stadium get sucked into Subspace. As he watches, he feels the presence of Palutena and turns around. She gives him the Sacred Bow of Palutena and sends him on his quest. He readily accepts it and heads off. Later, he takes a break from flying through the sky to rest. He watches as the Halberd flies through. As it passes by him, the hatch opens and Primid Juice comes out. The Primids solidify and you fight them off. After the battle, Pit notices a trophy on the ground. Hey! It's Mario/Kirby! Pit taps the trophy, bringing him to life. You form an alliance and head off to save the world.
