Turbo mode is extremely fun. If you thought Brawl- was broken just play on Turbo Mode! You going to have a hell of a lot of fun and pull off insane combos!

Thanks for giving up this experience Project M team.

Fox is mega fun in this mode. I keep trying to l-cancel everything but just airdodging, haha.

Yeah I keep airdodging too.

Kinda getting out of the habbit, but it's hard.

I can't figure out how to string any combos in this. It's so weird doing combos that would otherwise be completely impossible. Once I get used to it, it will be sick, I'm sure.

I'm already developing bad habits in Turbo Mode like approaching with moves that have a ton of endlag, like Falcon Kick.

Also, Turbo Ike is too much fun.

Ness' dash attack leads into so many options...

Metaknight's pretty deadly in Turbo, too.

After playing for a bit, I learned the most important part about Turbo is rethinking combos and doing moves sooner. It's tough to break, but to succeed in Turbo you have to UNLOCK POWER INHIBITORS

It's hella fun, the Bat might be a problem in this mode though.

Things I love to do in turbo mode. (I'm not all that competitive so don't kill me)
  • Bowser: Down-B > Up-B > Down-Air > Up-B > Neutral-Air
  • Samus: Neutral-Air > Up-B > Any Aerial
  • Mewtwo: Up-Smash > Up-Smash > Up-Smash > Up-Smash...
  • Charizard: First hit of Up-Smash > Jab > Neutral-Air > Forward/Back-Air
  • Meta Knight: Down-Air to the bottom of the stage and jump up :troll:

Playing as Marth reminds me of when I was a little kid, trying to play traditional fighting games. I'm just mashing all the buttons in all the directions and it seems to work, hahahahaha.

Why when I try to use Snakes forward smash he does the first to and then starts his jab combo?I want to do the third hit!

Same for Link's forward smash...Turbo mode is still great though!

Toon Link can cancel a grounded Up-B into itself, so he can basically spin attack for as long as it takes for the opponent to start to DI away, then just flick the C-Stick to smack 'em away.

I noticed it wasn't always possible to string the same move into itself. Or am I just missing and not realizing it? What are the laws in turbo mode?

Wario is top tier in turbo
UpSmash -> UpB -> UpB -> UpB -> UpB......
Sadly this doesn't work at high percentages :(

In other news.
Toon Link with a grounded Up-B is a zero death.
Same with Neutral-Special > Up-Smash > Neutral-Special > Up-Smash... on Zelda.

I like MetaKnights neutral B combo(just keep using it but spread it out and use it to start other combos) and his up B combo at high %.

Zelda neutral B and Up smash combo! Also Toon Link's constant ground spin attack into what ever he wants.

Wario: dair to fair to uair to bair -> dair to fair to uair to bair
JUST ROTATE THE C-STICK FOR COMBOS

My favorite so far: Mario dair to dsmash to fsmash

I haven't had the fortune of getting the game yet (have to wait for SD card >: [) but does Mario's up+b link into itself? If so, I'm waiting to test upb upb upb upb upb upb upb..., also waiting to test Roy's Blazer for a similar thing... and IC's squall hammer.

Very few moves link into themselves. Far as I know those moves are:

Toon Link's grounded Spin Attack
All of Mewtwo's aerials when hovering
About 80% of Zelda's entire moveset

I know that with Roy you can do Up-B>F-Air>Up-B>F-Air>Up-B>F-Air repeatedly. I like to do this until offstage, the finish with Up-B>D-Air spike.

It's a bit strange to turbo with Marth/Roy.
