Basically what I'm trying to do is figure out how to make BG0 16 colors instead pf 256. I'm not sure if this is what I'm looking for in these images but I just hoped it would help. I noticed there is some change in the value in the memory viewer and the disassembler. I saw where value was listed on the I/O viewer changed depending on whether or not certain things were checked. which in my case would be the 16/256 box. The value changed from 1F80 to 1F00 and I think it looks different in the memory viewer because I have 8-bit selected. I've checked and unchecked the boxes to see the change it made but when I restart the game it's no longer there. I'm not sure how to make it to where the value stays as 1F00. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

The images are below. I probably should've kept them separate...
