"True Item" code problem.

I want to try out the "True Item" code by Phantom Wings but I can't seem to get it to work. Every time I try to spawn an item, like with Link and his Down+B or in training mode, no item pops out.

I've tried a lot of the same code that modify a different item, but still it won't work.

Some help please?
I play on the NTSC version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, or RSBE01.

I've replaced the X and Y with the item ID's I want, but it won't work. Here are some other codes I've tried:

No, none of the codes that replace an item seem to work, any item I try to spawn disappears. Also, if I try to replace Sandbag and Diddy's peanut with another item, only a single super scope shot appears.

Are you using PAL brawl by chance?

No, I'm using the NTSC version of Brawl, with the RSBE01 code.
