OK, you've all seen hundreds upon hundreds of threads I'm sure (concerning lag etc) and I'm here to create another one :ohwell:

First off, I've been trying to create a stable connection with Brawl since it was released in the US. Just to say, I've obviously tried everything ever mentioned and have a lan adapter. To name a few things:

- Tried different modems
- Tried various routers
- Ran a straight line (no routers/wireless)
- Everything mentioned with port forwarding/dmz

the list goes on for a while but my real question concerns something I came across today. I took my Wii through the web browser to see how it performs on speedtest compared to my other computers/online devices... it is literally getting ~15-20% of the download/upload speeds and slightly more then double the ping to any given server... Just to say

Computers etc get:
5000-5500 dl
480-550 ul
~50 ping

Wii gets:
800-1000 dl
90-120 ul
~120 ping

I'm wondering if this is normal? If not what can possibly be done to fix it? I've put the Wii on wireless and wired... auto ip etc and static... but the results always come out in those ranges. I'm not sure if I've discovered the possible issue with my inability to play online - but I sure hope so... I specifically avoid online because despite my lack of 'fun' - it really isn't fair to other players to play them until I can present a solid connection =/

Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated...
