Trouble Installing 3.0

I always used Riivolution so the switch to Gecko surprised me a bit. I had been able to run many mods and even P:M using this method but I'm at a complete loss now.

Structure for my SD card is Root:/projectm/pf/whatever. The cheat file is in root:/codes and gameconfig is just in the root. I run the included Gecko from HBC and try to run it but I get "SD Patch File not Found". Turning off the SD patch option will run the game but it'll lack most of the P:M things and crash pretty fast.

So what am I doing wrong? I even tried the old root/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/etc with no results.

Edit: A Clean P:M Install had the exact same results.

Edit2: Hackless install is even worse, won't even do anything when on stage builder... If it' because my Wii is modded already then this is out of the question.

I'm also a riivolution user who is unable to use 3.0 with my current setup. Well, let me clarify. The last version worked perfectly fine with the riivolution download. I have an sd card that's 4gb. Launching 3.0 works fine and runs all the new stuff as long as I don't select the newly added content (extra costumes and characters). If I do my system freezes. I'm going to try just putting it all in root and running gecko instead. Nope. I also get the SD patch file not found issue. I suspect that it's possible to just update the XML file that riivolution uses to target files to include the content that's causing the crashes, but that sounds pretty tedious.

If I get a new 2gb SD card and use the hackless, will that work, or does the fact that i've already modded with riivolution prevent that?

Relevant question: Chibi-Chan, what size is your SD card? If it's over 2GB a new card might save us.

UPDATE: So I bought a 2gb sd card for like 8 bucks and downloaded the homebrew zip. Put it in root of the new card and loaded up my wii, selected the homebrew channel, and ran gecko with default settings. Worked just fine, so yes, if you previously relied on riivolution, if your setup is like mine you can just get a new card. Having to go to the homebrew channel instead of booting into it is kind of annoying, and I think I can just put bootmii or w/e i used to have back into root of the new card, and it should probably work. I'm just happy to have 3.0 working though! Thanks PMBR!

yeah riivolution support has been removed meaning you can't use sdhc cards for the moment... an update with addec sdhc support for the homebrew version will come... i have no idea when, though...
