New here;

So, I've been going on 1-on-1 for quite a while, but can't seem to really do anything. Almost every match, I couldn't even react to the opponent's attacks. It's been really frustrating being two-stocked really easily from a player using the same combos over and over. I study them and attempt to punish them, but it feels as if they are CPUs; reading almost all of my inputs. I can probably get lucky and land a hit or two, but that's about it. Now, I know that losing helps you improve on how you play, but I don't see any type of improvement whatsoever. Even facing the same guy using the same character for about 10 matches straight doesn't even help me in the slightest. Now, I would say I am a moderate player, seeing as how I can basically f-air my friends to their doom with Villager, but I can't even land a single n-air online. And even when I have the odds in my favor, the other dude just decides to pop his cart last second in order to keep his perfect W/L* ratio.

Now, the improving part isn't the main problem; I'm trying to find out what I am doing wrong in battles that result into my humiliation (seriously, I feel quite embarrassed when I can't even damage the guy). I wan't to actually battle an amazing player while receiving useful insight on how I can fix my mistakes, because online Little Macs aren't helping with their triple taunting after landing 10 side smashes (I think this is one of my problems).

So, would anyone be kind to kick my ass but then fixing it by doing a few quick matches? :)

(I only have the 3DS version... Too broke to even buy a refurbished WiiU... ToT)

*(I don't believe in the W/L ratio, so that's out of the way.)
