i was looking through the trophies in melee and decided to write a list of trophies that might be characters in brawl

Meatknight - yes confirmed
Pit - yes confirmed
wario - yes
Toad - no
Tingle - god no
peppy hare - no
kraid - nope too big
slippy - deserves to be shot
paper mario - possible
Daisy - probably not
waluigi - possible or he could be an AT
baby bowser/bowser jr - probably
Dixie kong - possible
King k rool - possible
Goron - unlikely
Andross - nope
Ridley - please sakurai put him in
king dee dee - very likely
poo - lol
RAY MK - ?
mr resetti - apologise *****
vacuum luigi - probably not
captain olimar - very likely
mach rider - maybe
balloonfighter - was supposed to be in melee
diddy kong - hopefully

Capitalization would have been nice.

I agree pretty much with your list, you could try adding some thought out reasons to why you think that way for each character though.
