trip 'n' fall

so i noticed that if you dash and right as you start the dash animation, you crouch and then switch directions, you sometimes trip and fall. right after you fall, if you press a shield button you'll roll. you can't be hit during that roll?

does anyone know how to consistently trip and fall? maybe it'll be samus' new way of moving around since her roll sucks
