Hello all of Pacific West, me and a friend of mine are driving cross country. We are SoVa smashers that left from pound to PA just to spend some time with my Grandfarther and will be leaving tomorrow to go on the cross country journey to seattle washington down route 40.

Now to the real question we would love to be able to be housed by someone just for a night to catch up on some sleep. We have sleeping bags and are willing to sleep on the floor, as well we have have food so honestly the only thing that we would need is a roof over our head to sleep. Plus get some games of smash in is always nice!

Your route will actually take you about 2 hours North of LA, through lovely (sarcasm) Bakersfield, CA. While going up 5, if you want to make an hour detour, you can swing by the Bay Area and see what's up. I've actually driven the near entirety of I-40 myself (through TN, so probably the same stretch you'll drive) on a cross country trip to Williamsburg. AZ and NM are gorgeous.
