Smash 3DS Transferring Data Issues

I got a 2DS back in September just so I could get the new Smash Bros when it came out. Less than a month in however, my little brother spills tea all over it and the system is completely shot. So for Christmas he gets me a new 2DS but the issue is my data from my SD card won't show up, but it will when I put it in the computer. How do I get it working on the DS again?

You have to do a system transfer, just simply putting the SD Card in won't suffice.

You pretty much lost the data, your best shot is contacting Nintendo.
