Trainers in the Battleground have Stat Theme Teams

I don't know if this topic was already made (if so, forgive me) but I've discovered that in the Battleground (the place in the Survival Area where you can re-battle Gym Leaders in Platinum) the trainers/previous partners have stat themed teams.
Here they are:

Riley - Attack

Buck - Defense

Mira - Special Attack

Cheryl - Special Defense

Marley - Speed

I'm just curious if anyone else saw this.
