Tournement Advice PLZ

I'm thinking about going to a locals (if I can find one) for Melee. Any advice on things to do, how to prepare. And I need advice on my Mains. I main Marth. My Secondary's are either Ice Climbers or Fox, still trying to decide.

Pratice a lot and try to master something you can't do yet. Also don't John lol

Keep it cute. And if anyone crosses you with unnecessary personal attacks and attitude for no known reason, stick up for yourself.

But really, don't let people intimidate you or punk you out. As many as there are great people there are those psychopaths who will treat you as if you're below them in a video game. It may not happen to you but be prepared and don't let such a thing discourage you. Be yourself. The competitive scene in any community can be harsh. Look out for yourself and I may advise you go with a friend.

Accept that you will probably get bodied, but don't let it phase you, you have to keep going.
