Tournaments are rare in Alabama...

Except for the annual one at Kami-Con in March, there are rarely any official tournaments in Alabama. Some in Georgia, some in Texas, but I can't really drive that long. Anyone from Birmingham want to organize some events in January? Not that I'd be there, but it would be good for my local Smashers.

There are tournaments in Alabama. You just need to look harder.

Check for a local Smash page on Facebook, and look at the tournament listings here on Smashboards.
There is also an Alabama thread which I think has Bham players on it, so find it and ask there.
