I just got back into Brawl after not having played it for months. I've came back in as Olimar, who has been my main ever since I started playing. I'm going to be holding a semi-impromptu tournament at my house, and I'll probably be getting in a local tournament early next month. Any good tips for training with Olimar to help get better and try to retain some of my former abilities. Thanks in advance!

If you're not hard set on going all Olimar, I suggest learning how to use Meta Knight for your bad matchups. He ***** just about all of them. He's a quick solution that also works out in the long run.

That said, just try to practice as often as you can. Save the replays and watch them over and over until you can spot why you're getting hit/killed and the like.

Good luck dude.

Use the QnA thread next time.

In the jawn, with the jawn.
Don't take Llumys too serious he's our resident troll.
Feed him cookies and he tends to soften up...or go away, both are nice :D

But he's right, read the stickies and try to prepare yourself for the matchups you are most likely going to face(changes depending on area but MK,Snake,Diddy, basically the characters that are highest up on the tier list and such)

Know your playstyle, watch your line, be wary of stages and keep on plucking :]

Thanks, I'll admit, I never really thought to read the stickies, so I'm going to take that lack of sense like a champ. And yeah, I'm relatively hardset on keeping Olimar my true main, I use a few alt characters, and I guess using MK and other high tier characters to train would be a good idea... So I'll take the advice and check out those stickies now...

@Llumys: Here's a cookie.
