Tournament Mode

I think this hasn't been discussed yet.
We all know tournament mode in melee blows. Like big time.
Was wondering what it might be like in Brawl (if its even there)
I would love if they implemented one where almost all of the rules are customized (elimination, stock, stage selection, character selection.)

it'd be so amazing if we could run double elimination tourneys on the pre-set mode. and if we could change our characters and stuff. it'd be real sweet.

I hope it's more customizable ... or ... I'd also be fine if they didn't include it in Brawl. I mean, we're all fine at organizing our own tourneys, right?

Well the organizing tourneys thing sounds cool and stuff, but the tournament mode would only be on one Wii. For this to work, you would have to somehow be able to transfer all the tourney stuff to the other Wiis that are participating.

I think he meant - say ur at ur house with ur friends, u guys wanna do a tourney, something small... do the tourney in Brawl with customizable features, and you would have 1 tv, 1 smash and 1 Wii

I'd love tournament mode online, but I doubt it'll happen. Just regular matches is probably gonna be the extent of online mode.

Online tournaments would be awesome, but I think that it might be a little time consuming to fill up the slots if the online system would be anything like Halo. I really hope that Nintendo eventually decides to really take advantage of the online with this game.
