Smash Wii U Tournament Mode

Does anyone know if anything has been said since the 50 facts thing about Tournament Mode? I was really looking forward to online tournaments, and now it's several months after launch and we have nothing. They showed this as a feature, and while they said it wouldn't be at launch, I expected a week or two after, not multiple months. I feel like they shouldn't have showed this as a feature in what was basically an advertisement if it wasn't going to be in the game for a long time.

They revealed that they were working on new stages, too. I expect all of the missing items to be patched in when Mewtwo is released.

Yeah it's going to be a patience type of situation. Now, if only Special Smash could be expanded even further in that it gets 8-player Smash support, and you get to choose the attributes for each individual player, instead of everyone having to share the exact same conditions.

If it was going to be a week or two, they'd probably have said so.

I'm expecting a large patch containing Tourney Mode, Mewtwo, Miiverse Stage, and whatever else to all hit at once.
