i've tried everything: changing font, language, color, settings, type of tool, and yet nothing

my photoshop type tool, is, totally, gay



look, the cursor is appearing in the freaking adjustment box! wtf!

it's photoshop 7, and it's always worked before. I've even tried installing a new patch, but nothing
basically, i'm asking for help :urg:
