Why does it have to be one of them? It could be someone like Olimar or an AC character.

We're overdue for a veteran - the last one was the Ice Climbers in mid-September - so I'm betting the next character will be such. Probably Captain Falcon or Luigi, who are the most obvious returning ones of the bunch.

Lucario has a very big chance of making it as the new Pokemon. Pokemon Trainer alone I can't see being the only Pokemon char added.

Lucario has a huge fanbase, plenty of attacks that are plausible, is a FIGHTING type pokemon, and also was the star of one of the recent movies.

Hmmm I THINK Samurai Goroh was a character with a good fanbase but was turned into an AT..."I" just think that Lucario is going to be a poke'ball item

I mean c'mon we already have Pika, PT, Jiggs(most likely), Mew2(maybe) another PKmon? nope Lucario=poke'ball item...is what I think

I say this because so far, no character thats been revealed has been an unlockable in the past. And shiek is the last veteran who was not unlockable in a previous game. Of course I could be wrong.

I really dont think its a newcomer either way.

Captain Falcon and Ness were default in Melee. I doubt they would lock those two again.

This won't be a character update. We don't get those very often anymore at all. I think Sonic and Diddy were a whole month apart, and we already had Sonic revealed what, two or three weeks ago? We won't get another one til late November probably.

Told you. Not sure why you guys were hellbent on believeing we were getting a new character, but it was easy to tell it wasn't going to happen. Everytime someone THINK'S they know the next update, they are usually wrong. Though there is the occasional off chance they get it right.
