Theory crafting time!

So, other than the stage being an old Mario Kart stage(or at least I think it is), what else can we get from it.

My only piece of speculation is how far the camera is zooming out.

Anything else about the stage itself, where the moving platforms will pause or if it will at all is welcome here.

I'd like to think you move around the stage on a little plane that takes you through and around the island. It could be kind of cool, seeing a 16Bit map at different angles like that.

I think this specific pic of the day is important. If I made a thread about the pic where Kirby engulfs Samus' head then yeah, I would agree with you, but this isn't just for the pic. It's a new stage, new potential camera controls, possibly new stage hazards, etc.

I think it would be imperative to make threads on "important" pic of the days.

I think the primary stage will be on a plane, the width being that of the wings. The characters from Pilot Wings will occasionally fly nearby, providing additional platforms.

Thankfully I can't imagine a way for them to get any ****ty stage hazards from Pilot Wings.

I was hoping that if Pilot Wings got a plug, it would be the 64 one. There's a lot of personality in that game. Fighting around Mario's bust imposed on Mt. Rushmore would be a nicer deviation than the pictured flatland crap...
