Smash Journeyman
Well, now that the roster has pretty much been outted, what do you guys hope to happen in the next 7 years that would hopefully affect the next Smash game?
1) Somebody slaps the new creator over the head with a couple copies of the Metroid Prime games. There's a lot of awesome characters (RIDLEY )!@(*#)!) and amazing locations that should hopefully provide something other then rising freaking lava/acid/dirty bath water. Prime pretty much resurrected the series and if Wind Waker god**** Link gets a nod, then so should this game.
2) For someone to erase ridiculous old school characters from the memory of the entire world. Fan favorites should be in over novelty crap...
3) It's rumored that Factor 5 is working on a Kid Icarus game, and hopefully it is true and kicks all kinds of ***.
4) An actually GOOD game for Star Fox and Kirby in the new generation to remind us what was so great about all those characters in the first place.
5) Pikmin and to a (much) lesser extent, Animal Crossing are shown some love in this game, and hopefully these franchises are able to grow a lot more.
6) For whatever Legend of Zelda games that should be created within this enormous span create some good characters or atleast flesh out some existing ones. Vaati, Skull Kid, or even a new character (not Tingle!) really deserve some shine, if not for the fact so that there won't be Link, WWLink, 8 Bit Link, Dark Link, "Masks" Link, Midna/Wolf Link, etc. because they haven't able to properly develop more then 3 characters.
7) It would be cool if a huge game came out that really expanded and included everything in the Mario universe. Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and Peach, and then Wario's series plus Waluigi doing something other then playing with balls or hitting a dice (including Captain Syrup?), Yoshi clashing with Raphael Raven and Kamek, King Wart, the Koopa Kids, etc. Bringing all these characters and worlds together could only benefit a new Smash game..
8) A Donkey Kong game that isn't a freaking Konga game and that does not include the DK Rap.
9) For Pokemon to FINALLY get a proper 3D game.
