To anyone with a PS Controller > Gamecube converter, does it work with SSBB?

I was wondering if anyone has a Playstation controller > Gamecube controller converter thing, which allows you to use Playstation controllers on the gamecube/Wii.

Now, I heard that it only works on "some" Wii games and not all, so I was wondering if it works with SSBB?
