Tips to use sonic?

I am sure about 90% of the reason why I stick to Sonic and not move to an easier character to main as (like Wolf) is because of my Sonic fanaticism. I think that is the truth for a majority of Sonic players. We love Sonic, but we have to admit that he is probably one of the hardest characters to main and effectively be good with. I think some people play Sonic because they love how fast he can go, and prefer him in an item match (pity the tourney "1337" players view items as too random), or they just love Super Sonic (Smash Ball is an item, and appears way to often on low setting).
Anyways back to the point. If you are JUST going to use Sonic's specials, I think you are going to be disappointed. His Dash, Spin Dash, and Homing Attack are good, but are limited in damage if used alone. But if you want more info on THAT, you would do well at ask a more experienced Sonic player.
Anyways. His Homing Attack is done by simply pressing B and it launches Sonic forward to bounce off a target and can be used again and again. His Dash is Down + B and it can be sped up by mashing B over and over again until release. His Spin Dash is Side + B and it can be maintained until release as long as you hold down B. You can also just press B when you are running into someone for some Spin Dash damage as well, great for a hit and run.
