With edgehogging being removed from sm4sh, your best bet is pursuing offstage with a quick bair/fair (depending on your main you'll know the better option) just to knock em back a little further or possibly past the blast zone. Attempting a spike is always an option, more preferred with a character that has a true spike over one who needs to have it sweetspot to send the enemy downward. But I still prefer to bair or fair personally. If they grab the ledge, you can try to read their roll and charge a smash attack or if they're known to ledge attack you can just have your shield ready to block and then grab out of shield and keep applying pressure. Just a couple of options that work for me usually.
