Tips for Snake VS Fox

I'm fighting this guy who I know for an online tournament. He's been using Fox since Brawl came out and the beats me 60% of the time. Whenever we're doing competitive matches, he usually wins unless it's a rare occasion. He's a top notch Fox player, I need some way to beat him. Any tips for this matchup?

After I had the match, I noticed that Snake's Nair is INCREDIBLY awesome and that planting mines as opposed to C4 is also awesome.
