Tips for facing Olimars and Meta's?

Olimar gives me trouble no matter who's playing him. I just can't seem to keep track of his pikmin, and I find it very hard to space well against him. Just some general counter strategies would be nice, thank you.

Metaknight, oh how I hate this guy. He's too small to effectively use lasers, all his attacks come out far faster than Falco's, and he pretty much beats Falco in the air. I really don't know what to do with Metaknight's. I mean, the moment he gets close is the moment I get *****. Please, anything that can counter this demi-god would be lovely

There are a lot of great resources here. You should take the time to search around and read what has already been written. Search for Falco/Metanight/Olimar videos in the video section of Smash Boards. I also suggest you look at the olimar/metaknight forums to get an idea about what they think of Falco. Do what they hate most because it probably works.

Take the time to research on your own before asking vauge questions like 'help me.' We can't help if we know nothing about your playing style. Unless you have a specific question relating these matchups, you'll just get a rehashing of what has already been said time and time again.

Perhaps post a video of your falco so we can offer useful advice.

Personal research was going to be my alternative, but I wanted to hear some general responses first. Searching the other boards definitely wasn't an idea of mine though.

There are a lot of resources out there about Falco vs Olimar/MK, but I will throw my 2 cents in. Vs Olimar, be smart about the stage you pick against him. Depending on the tourney stages available, olimar's pikmin die fast in water and can't grapple some ledges, such as one in Frigate. Vs. MK, I find that Nair clash or outprioritize many of his moves. Unfortunately, that will get predictable real fast.
