Hey guys, I've got another question. I've picked up Falco because I'd like to main him, but I'm having trouble extending my pillars and such because I can't seem to softly move the stick up slow/fast enough to tilt but not do a jump and it really messes up my combo game.

The only way that I've really gotten it to where I can quickly get to an U-Tilt is by doing a dash attack into it, but I know that can be really bad on shield so it's not really my best option. Could anyone give me some tips on a more efficient way to move to my fingers?

Really, all it comes down to is practice. You'll develop muscle memory over time, and be able to quickly move your fingers a lot faster. I was kind of in the same boat. I was absolute **** at wave dashing, and I was dead set on never wave dashing. One day I decided to just spend time to practice my wavedash, and now I can do it flawlessly.

A way I got good at pillaring is a little practice method I made that you can do on your own. Plug in two controllers in the first and second ports. Choose Falco and Fox. Kill Fox to put him in the correct position. Once he's respwaned, and his invincibility is gone go to the opposite side of the stage, and SHL him until he grabs onto the ledge. Dash to the edge and jump off. Shine him while you're off stage to put him back on. Jump out of your shine, and get back on the stage. MAKE SURE YOU ARE TO THE LEFT OF HIM. Start pillaring him him until he gets to about +100%. You can do whatever you want to kill him (I do down smash or down tilt) You'll probably be near the middle of the stage by now, so turn around and wave dash until your on the ledge on the right of the stage. Press a, and wait for Fox to get back on. Rinse and repeat.

hold up while doing another move. like falling dair or nair, hold up before you hit the ground, and then BOOM! Eat up tilt, nerds.

That's good for buffering uptilts. I believe the better way to learn it is to practice the separate input tho lol. It's easy to buffer so It's a good strat.

Its not really that hard. Take it from me. I'm a trash player and I can tilt just because i practiced doing uptilt over and over when i mained falco.

Just be quick Dood like, if you move the stick up while your still in the dair animation and hold it you won't jump when you land, so you can just press a and you'll do an uptilt.
