Tier list

I'm sorry if this is something that's been on here a million times, i'm new to smash boards (not the community) and this is my first post, but i was wondering if anyone has a link to one (if it exists) to a Project M tier list.

There's currently no consensus, but we're slowly arriving at a vague agreement of what characters are fairly strong. Check out the later pages of the "Tier list speculation" thread for more details.

While everyone has there own tier list (or at least top 10) firmly fixed their minds, there is no concrete tier list for Project M. As cliche as it is, every character in the cast is viable for high-level play, so pick whoever you like.

Also, I know it's hard to do, but in the future, when you're getting into a new fighter, do not be that guy who immediately consults the tier list to decide who he will main. Unless the game is ridiculously unbalanced (as in, you watch tourney footage and see the same few characters over and over), it's far more rewarding to pick someone you enjoy playing and doing well with them.

not true for pm. Fox is picked somewhat often but falco is pretty rare in tournaments in pm compared to melee which makes sense since there are much more viable characters to choose from than in melee
