Throwing Fox of the Edge.

"After throwing Fox of the edge, usually he'll jump up. If you magage to get a needle on him he'll fall down and then you can slap him away to die."

I read something like that in a guide, but whenever I try it I either get burned up by the fire fox or I simply can't get back onto the platform.

Is it possible or not?

do what i do (stolen from plank <3):

low percentages:

bthrow fox off edge, jump and needle immediately as they almost always double jump to get the edge. bair them into the stage (on battlefield they die all the time). gimp kill.

if they actually use their jump to jump back and fox illusion, bair and kill them. but they'll always double jump to get the edge first, and then once they get ***** they'll change.
