North Korea vs. Iran

North Korea:
has a terrible economy
Isolationist foreign policy
Backed by China alone
Proliferates large amounts of conventional weapons to terrorist groups all over the world
Provokes South Korea
Has an active nuclear program and has nuclear warheads
Has a dictator that is widely considered one of the most irrational leaders on the planet
Breaks U.N sanctions
Enormous military

Iran:
Thriving economy
Largest state sponsor of terrorism
One of the largest and most active members of OPEC
Proliferates conventional weapons to Al-Qaeda and Taliban
Harbors terrorists
Provides funding to radical groups
Anti Israel and it's allies
No nukes
Irrational spokesman

Which country is a greater threat to global security? If a threat at all?

I will go with North Korea. Reasoning behind this include:
1. Iran provides weapons to terrorist cells, which in turn allow for the building of new homegrown units throughout the world. However, North Korea does the same thing, but without the many sanctions Iran has on them from the U.N. North Korea HAS sanctions too, but they choose not to obey many of them.
2. Irrational disobedient dictator with nuclear warheads at the tip of his fingers don't make for a happy fairy tale ending.
3. North Korea's location allows for missile launching from its mainland to places such as Hawaii, South Korea, Russia, and Eastern Europe, as well as other Asian countries. Combined with its enormous military, this could lead to a massive invasion of any of these areas after an attack.
