Sorry. I'm sure this isn't the right forum section for this, but I couldn't find a website help forum or anything like that.

And I tried searching, to no avail.

The problem is that any time I post in a thread, it automatically subscribes me to that thread. This is excessively annoying as my email inbox then gets flooded with smashworld emails everytime someone posts in it. I can stop it by unsubscribing to any thread I post in, but then I just have to do it agin if I post in it again. This is also really annoying and it's making me hesitate before I post anything.

So my question is; is there any way to turn it off? I've looked all through the user control panel and just can't find any way to turn off the auto-subscribe.

And if a mod moves this to a proper forum section (if there is one) please pm me with the area it has been moved to.

Are you kidding me? You could have just PMd a mod. lol wrong forum section? This is the brawl section, you really weren't thinking my friend.

Anyway go to options and look for this :

Default Thread Subscription Mode

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Default Thread Subscription Mode:

I still have no idea why you posted this here though >.>

Yes, there's a way to avoid this....
Go to your Control Panel in the "settings and options" menu click the "edit option" button. Go to the "Messaging & Notification" menu and there it says "Default Thread Subscription Mode" change this to: "Do not suscribe" and then click the save changes button at the end of the page!

Just so you know for next time, there's a Questions and suggestions thread in the Pool Room. :)
