Thoughts on the Narrator?

To me, part of the charm of Smash games has always been the narrator, whether it came to hilarious pronunciations (Saw-mus), or change in tone (Luigi?!), I've always gotten a good laugh and the narrator still pleases me in this one, being goofier and weirder than usual in this game. I can constantly go on and on about shout outs I love (AHLF!!! DaaAaAaAark Pit! ROB :D! WiiFit TRAINER > , etc.) But yeah, what's everyone's opinions on the narrator in this game, especially when put side-to-side against past ones?

Overall I like him. I still have fond memories for the Melee and Brawl ones but that's nostalgia. This dude's cool too.

I think some names, like Jigglypuff, are done pretty badly though.

I thought that the narrator would sound a little more, I don't know, peppy when announcing the Villager. The way he says it makes the character seem much more ominous or menacing than-...

..Yeah, okay, it's pretty justified.

He says the Villager's name in the same tone as Ganondorf. I suppose it's because they're Smash's two pure evil participants.

I also dig the very deliberate pause between "Duck" and "Hunt" to avoid the accidental obscenity.

I imagine that too, but with an added stereotypical chin rub or something like that.

Yep. Brawl is Pat Cashman and Smash 4 is Xander Mobus.

Pretty much this ^. The pronouncing of Jigglypuff sounds so muffled.
