Thoughts on 2v2v2(v2), 3v3, 4v4

Do you think any of these modes will become popular or common in tournaments? I think 4v4 has potential for greatness.

I think they have potential, but there a few too many stages that actually fit that style. Also finding that many people for 1 match can be a trouble, so i don't think it will become that common.

There's a lot of unique strategies available for teams, and I personally think they're more fun to watch than 1v1 in Smash 4. It brings out roles and playstyles that make the teams game, essentially, a completely different game from 1v1. I've seen a Zelda, Ness, and G&W team that absolutely wrecked the opposing team just using simple tactics (filling the bucket, healing Ness, etc.).

3v3 sounds cool to me, but I think 4v4 and 2v2^2 would end up being too hectic for any really cool play to emerge. I don't think anything cool could occur in 2v2^2 that couldn't in 2v2. Maybe 4v4 would work out.
If these do become a thing, I would have to beg for Great Cave Offensive to be a legal stage. I love that stage so much.
