Right, first off, I'm called Yellow as my first Pokémon game was Yellow and I used a default name. It's stuck with me through every other Pokémon game I've owned.

I'll be showing you two teams; one is my LeafGreen team, the other, my Pearl team.

I'll start with my LeafGreen team:

1. Pikachu ♂
HASTY Nature
Ability: STATIC
Level (at time of post): 100
Item: Amulet Coin
Moves:
Thundershock
Thunder
Slam
Thunderbolt

Description:
My favourite Pokémon. Not because he's the Pokémon mascot, but because he was my first Pokémon in my first game, Yellow, as previously mentioned. Pikachu starts most battles.

2. Venusar ♂
RELAXED nature
Ability: OVERGROW
Level (at time of post): 78
Item: Miracle Seed
Moves:
Razor Leaf
Solarbeam
Cut
Frenzy Plant

Description:
Yet another Pokémon I acquired in Yellow. Overall, Venusaur is a heavy Pokémon, capable of taking hits and giving them back - he lacks speed, however.

3. Pidgeot ♀
IMPISH nature
Ability: KEEN EYE
Level (at time of post): 73
Item: Leftovers
Moves:
Fly
Mirror Move
Wing Attack
Secret Power

Description:
One of my favourite Pokémon, also obtained in Yellow (you've noticed a pattern, no?). She is a fast and powerful fighter. While she takes hits better than Pikachu, she's not as rock-solid as Venusaur.

4. Kangaskhan ♀
RASH nature
Ability: EARLY BIRD
Level (at time of post): 70
Item: Quick Claw
Moves:
Mega Punch
Body Slam
Ice Beam
Surf

Description:
(See above for origin). Kangaskhan is a good all-round Pokémon; keeping a balance between power, defense and speed. The latter is upped slightly by her held item.

5. Zapdos
GENTLE nature
Ability: PRESSURE
Level (at time of post): 100
Item: Smoke ball
Moves:
Fly
Thunder
Drill Peck
Rock Smash

Description:
This is one of two members of my team who didn't come from Yellow. Zapdos is, in fact, the only legendary bird I managed to capture (I was pretty inexperienced when I came across the other two). Zapdos is great in all areas, boasting a HP bar of 330. Zapdos is an excellent counter Pokémon when used after one of my Pokémon is KOed.

6. Mewtwo
SERIOUS nature.
Ability: PRESSURE
Level (at time of post): 82
Item: King's Rock
Moves:
Psychic
Recover
Confusion
Swift

Description:
The final member of my crew and the second member who I didn't have in Yellow. Mewtwo, like Zapdos, is a powerful Pokémon in most areas. Mewtwo's moveset seems virtually unchanged from when I caught it.

That concludes my LeafGreen team.
As for my Pearl team:

1. Pikachu ♂
IMPISH nature
Ability: Static
Level (at time of post): 71
Item: Magnet
Moves:
Thundershock
Thunder
Iron Tail
Thunderbolt

Description:
Pikachu, coming from LeafGreen and Yellow, serves the purpose he did in the aforementioned games, being my favourite Pokémon and battle starter.

2. Torterra ♂
SASSY nature
Ability: Overgrow
Level (you know the system by now): 72
Item: Meadow Plate
Moves:
Razor Leaf
Cut
Leaf Storm
Earthquake

Description:
Torterra takes on Venusaur's role in Pearl. He accompanies Pikachu in battle and was my starter Pokémon. He is a bit more versatile than Venusaur due to his Earthquake. He is a Grass + Ground type as opposed to Venusaur's Grass + Poison.

3. Staraptor ♂
CAREFUL nature
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 62
Item: Amulet Coin
Moves:
Fly
Wing Attack
Close Combat
Brave Bird

Description:
Staraptor is Pidgeot's successor and uses primarily Flying-type moves. His close combat attack allows him to do more damage to certain types of enemy (e.g. Rock-types).

4. Lucaria* ♀
RELAXED nature
Ability: Inner Focus
Level: 55
Item: Fist Plate
Moves:
Flash Cannon
ExtremeSpeed
Close Combat
Aura Sphere

Description:
Lucaria is Kangaskhans' replacement. Although, she is a lower level than her team mates, Lucaria still does very well in battle.

5. Palkia
HARDY nature
Ability: Pressure
Level: 67
Item: Lustrous Orb
Moves:
Earth Power
Surf
Dragon Claw
Spacial Rend

Description:
Palkia takes on the role of Zapdos from the previous game. It packs punch with a range of moves and decent stats.

6. Regigigas
DOCILE nature
Ability: Slow Start
Level: 72
Item: Shell Bell
Moves:
ThunderPunch
Strength
Superpower
Zen Headbutt

Description:
Regigigas replaces Mewtwo. Although its ability puts it at a disadvantage at the start of combat; it really wields power once it gets going.

*Lucaria is a Lucario. Because its female, I nicknamed her Lucaria.

All members of my Pearl team have the PKMN fever.

Wad'ya think?

Most if not all natures suck. Same can be said about the movesets - too much type overlapping and too weak moves (Swift on Mewtwo!?).
Needz moar powahh!
*checks TMs*

I do have quite a range of types, though. Makes up for type overlapping...somewhat.
