Sumabato for THE BIG HOUSE:
Komorikiri, ranked 2nd in the Umebura Smash 4 Power Rankings and 11th in the Panda Global Rankings, proved his dominance by defeating some of the best Super Smash Bros. Wii U players Japan has to offer, beating Shuton in a spectacular 3-1 to take his victory at “Sumabato for THE BIG HOUSE”.
This triumph has earned him a paid flight (arranged by our very own Alex “Vayseth” Varga) to participate in THE BIG HOUSE 6, which is taking place this October, from the 7th to the 9th. The final standings for the tournament were as follows:

Smash Factor 5:
Kneeing and stomping his way through the Super Smash Bros. Melee loser's bracket, N0ne was able to take a decisive 3-1 victory against Javi, and clutch the win away from HugS using a mix of his famous C. Falcon and the fan-favorite Ganon to take first place.

On the Smash Wii U side, we saw a surprising upset as revered top-player Leo was sent to the losers bracket by Wonf, but managed to recover and come back after a series of impressive matches, which lead to him resetting the bracket and defeating Mr. R… with a 2 stock for the final match.

Sonic Boom 2016:
Promoting itself as “the first Smash National Tournament in Madrid”, Sonic Boom had a lot to prove and fortunately didn’t disappoint. The Melee bracket was filled with all sorts of talent, but Trif stood tall and proud amongst them all, managing to take the tournament with a 3-1 score for his final match against Overtriforce.

The Smash Wii U competition saw Rydle as a nearly uncontested champion, taking grand finals 3-0 against Robo~Lugi and only dropping two sets to Marcbri during top eight, cementing himself as one of the best competitors Spain has to offer, even long after the Bayonetta nerfs.

Revelation 2016:
Colorado’s own little bit of pride saw quite the Melee competition over the week with big-name players such as S2J, Lucky and Eikelmann battling it out for the title of champion. S2J was sent to loser’s early into top eight by Eikelmann, but proceeded to pull of an astounding loser’s run which ended with him resetting the bracket in a close 3-2 set against Lucky, and proceeding to win the tournament in a similar fashion.

Smash Wii U also gave us a lot to talk about with players such as falln, JFK and MJG making it to top eight -- but they could do little to compare to Vinnie, who managed to take first place without dropping a single game during top eight, with some absolutely dominant Sheik play.
