Yeah, I'm adding one of these topics here. It's similar to just asking how to waveshine, but then again, I couldn't search up the right topic.

Well, the thing is, I can't seem to get a wallshine with the downward wavedash consistently anymore. I stop after like 5, and before, I could do it as much as I wanted at a pretty consistent speed. I can do a waveshine infinite on everyone(that can be waveshined) except for Samus, who I miss occasionally due to the lack in the length of my wavedash. Anyway, I know how to do this, and I've practiced this before, but I seem to have lost the touch. ;_;

I think the reason I can do the waveshine infinite and not the wallshine, is because the movement time I make on the control stick prevents me from lifting off the ground like when I mess up my wallshines. Oh, and the mistake I make doing the wallshine is that I usually time the wavedash movement too early, causing me to do a regular jump. I try to follow it up with a fast falled drillshine, but it's too late since it's subcontious. Btw, I can do the drillshine infinite. Am I the only one who gets out of shape like this? I do play everyone(cept for Bowser who I can't use for beans...) and usually more of my junker characters since I don't play better people as often. Yeah, so can anyone share how they keep time for wallshines? Anything simple would be appreciated.

Maybe if it's because you haven't done it in a while your fingers need to get use to it again. I just learned waveshine (in general) about a month ago and the max I've done so far is like 8 or 10 without messing up. My fingers end up really tired and jumbled.

Could be a bad day, but I don't think so. Probably that I never done it in so long, since my friends hate it. I'm doing it now since I play better people more often, but when I try on them, I screw up. Is there something I can do besides just practicing again?

maybe you are doing it too fast, i would look at the hitlag the characters are stuck in to kinda get the rythm of when to shine/wd again...

Hold the control stick downwards then press : B + jump +( L + down on the control stick) then repeat. AND you've mastered the infinite drillshine and you can't do this? i dont think so... well practice

takieddine, thanks for the advice.
I've been practicing this and I got it down again. I just had to slow down a bit. Yay it's back~

Oskurito, I know how to do it. I use R, but whatever. Anyway, I was messing up because of the timing of my downward wavedashes were off. For drillshine, you just need the speed. There's no real timing or rhythm to doing drillshines like the wallshine.

Not sure about slowing down a bit but just one more advice: If you're waveshining enough fast your opponent should'nt put his shield on while being waveshined, to prove this go totraining mode and pick link as your opponent(you must have 2 controllers for this) then put some sticky tape on the L button of the other controller so the other character will shield himself always (or tell a friend...) then try to waveshine the character until you mess up and check your timing, if you're doing it enough fast the other character will not shield himself while stuned

I know how to waveshine buddy.

I was talking about wallshines. I was going rediculously fast, so I was messing up. I just put the speed down a bit so that I don't screw up.
